Diagnosis of hypertension
Hypertension is the most important risk factor for premature death. The higher the blood pressure, the higher the mortality and incidence rate of cardiovascular diseases (heart attack, stroke, heart failure, vascular diseases) and kidney failure. In Poland, 10 million people are most likely suffering from arterial hypertension. Every third person in our country does not know that they have hypertension. The development of hypertension can be prevented by modifying the lifestyle accordingly. In people with diagnosed hypertension it is important to prevent and delay adverse consequences (e. g. cardiovascular and neural complications). More than half of people with hypertension are ineffectively treated
The sets of laboratory and imaging tests offered to you have been developed taking into account the latest guidelines of the Polish Society of Hypertension (PTNT) and the European Society of Hypertension (ESH). (ESH, European Society of Hypertension). The aim is to determine: the cause of the disease, coexistence of other risk factors, the presence and severity of organ complications, the direction of lifestyle modification, optimal pharmacological treatment.

- 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG)
- Body weight + BMI
- 24-hour BP (ABPM) – more information
- Internal examination + recommendations
